Since its inception in 1969, Eagle Airways has grown from a single aircraft flight training school into a regional airline serving up to 23 destinations in New Zealand with over 1200 flights per week. We specialise in operating low capacity aircraft on low traffic, low density routes connecting 21 destinations across the Air New Zealand domestic Network. We may operate the smallest aircraft in the Air New Zealand Group, but Eagle Air connects people to more destinations across New Zealand more often than anyone else. Our Strategy: To build on our success, one flight at a time by combining exceptional people and product   The company employs 205 staff across its three major divisions of Flight Operations, Airline Operations (Airport Handling and Network Operations Control) and Engineering. As the Groups 19 seat operator we seek to continue to grow the domestic network through the expansion of existing routes through additional frequency and the establishment of new greenfield routes. We also compete against new and existing competitors ensuring we retain cost efficiency  in our operations against alternative solutions.
