EAGLE AIRWAYS - Who are we?

Eagle Air is a wholly owned subsidiary of Air New Zealand and operates 18 Beech 1900D airliners on the Air New Zealand domestic route network. We are a member of the Shorthaul Airline along with our link partners Air Nelson and Mt Cook Airline, and the Domestic and Tasman/Pacific Island airlines.
As a provincial carrier Eagle Air specialises in operating low capacity aircraft on low traffic, low density routes. To view our extensive route network click here.

As the Air New Zealand Groups 19 seat operator we seek to continue to grow the Domestic network through the expansion of existing routes through additional frequency and the establishment of new greenfield routes.

  • Service to Oamaru began in July 2006
